Catalyst:Ed is excited to partner with Oak Foundation to support several of its grantee partners in strengthening their organizational capacity so they can better support students with learning differences. 

Through Oak Foundation’s grant-making, it supports others to make the world a safer, fairer, and more sustainable place to live. Founded in 1983, the foundation has offices in Europe, Asia, and North America and partners with organizations worldwide to address issues such as the environment, preventing child sexual abuse, learning differences, housing and homelessness, international human rights, and issues affecting women. The foundation’s work in education focuses on improving access and equity for students with learning differences who are furthest from opportunity due to racism and poverty. 

“Our grantee partners are field leaders in supporting students with learning differences and innovating in support of better methods to help those students achieve. We want to make sure they have strong organizational capacity to continue providing that support for many years to come” said Heather Graham, the director of the Learning Differences Program. “We are thrilled to be working with Catalyst:Ed on this important partnership. Their expertise in equity-centered support and capacity-building will be invaluable to our partners as they strive to improve outcomes for students with learning differences.”

Catalyst:Ed partners with foundations to help grantees build capacity through tailored support, connections to a diverse talent pool of providers, and peer learning. Through our Catalyst:Ed Exchanges, grantee organizations receive comprehensive, equity-centered support, including diagnostics for self-reflection, advisory services from Catalyst:Ed’s team, and tailored capacity building help from our network of more than 830 vetted coaches, consultants, and technical assistance providers.
